Mini has announced plans to showcase a revamped version of its Aceman concept car at the Shanghai Auto Show. The original Aceman, revealed in 2011, was designed as a sleek, two-seat sports car with a low-slung roofline and sharp lines, and was intended to inspire future Mini models.

The new concept will reportedly retain the sleek and sporty design of the original, but will feature a number of updates and enhancements. Details have yet to be confirmed, but early reports suggest that the new Aceman will feature all-electric powertrain technology, with a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge.

Other rumored features include advanced autonomous driving capabilities, a high-tech touchscreen dashboard display, and state-of-the-art safety features.

Mini has not yet announced plans for production of the new Aceman, but the company's continued investment in electric and autonomous vehicle technology suggests that a production version of the concept could be a possibility in the future.

The Shanghai Auto Show is one of the largest and most important automotive events in the world, and typically attracts major automakers from around the globe. Mini will be among the many automakers showcasing their latest technologies and innovations at the show, which is scheduled to take place in April 2022.
