Cadillac has confirmed that its new electric crossover, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq, will be available for sale in Canada. This is part of Cadillac's global push to offer more electric vehicles in the coming years, and the Optiq is a key part of that effort.

The Optiq is expected to be a premium crossover that offers advanced technology and a great driving experience. It will have a range of up to 500 kilometers (310 miles) on a single charge, and it will be able to charge to 80 percent in just 30 minutes using DC fast charging.

Cadillac has not released many details about the Optiq, but it is expected to have a powerful electric powertrain that delivers quick acceleration and plenty of torque. It will also likely have a spacious and comfortable interior with high-quality materials and advanced infotainment technology.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq will be part of Cadillac's new lineup of electric vehicles, which will also include the Lyriq SUV and Celestiq sedan. These new models are part of General Motors' plan to offer 30 new electric vehicles globally by 2025.

The Optiq will compete with other luxury electric crossovers like the Tesla Model X, Audi e-Tron, and Mercedes-Benz EQC. It is expected to be available for sale in Canada in late 2024 or early 2025, with pricing and specific details to be announced closer to its launch.
